porridge balls

BANANA
4 tbs quinoa flakes (or oats)
1/2 banana, mashed
2 tbs milk
Carrot Cake
4 tbs quinoa flakes
1/4 carrot, grated
1 tbs pear or apple puree
1/2 tsp walnut meal (optional)
3.5 tbs milk
Sprinkle of cinnamon + nutmeg
SERVING SIZE (1): SUITABLE FROM 6MO
These are soft in texture, but can be a little claggy, so ideal for those little ones that have been on finger foods for a few weeks to months, and understand the concept of biting
Adjust according to your little ones appetite
Apple Pie
4 tbs quinoa flakes
1/2 apple, grated
1 tbs apple puree
1/2 tsp almond meal (optional)
2.5 tbs milk
Sprinkle cinnamon
Combine ingredients and smooth into the base of a container
Place in microwave with lid on for 2 minutes (will differ depending on microwave)
Allow to cool slightly before slicing into fingers, or rolling into balls
