We all know the importance of ensuring our children are consuming adequate amounts of iron - it is vital for growth and development. Whilst I encourage you not to get too caught up in the numbers, this cheat sheet provides you with the iron quantity of the most common iron containing foods. Ideally, you would offer a source of iron at every meal.

REMEMBER! Always try to serve a source of vitamin C (fruit/veggie) alongside foods that contain iron, to maximise absorption.
